Bridge the Gap
Galatians 6:9Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up.
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Weariness in doing good is expected enough to warn against. Due season times the harvest on God's calendar. Do not give up is the hinge. October fatigue after months of unseen good can whisper quit. Answer with due season. Reaping is promised to persevering sowers. Doing good includes small unseen kindnesses. Grow weary names your feelings; do not give up directs your will. Share the load so weariness does not isolate you. Remind a tired friend of harvest. Keep sowing one more good act today. Season due will arrive. Giving up forfeits what perseverance would have tasted. Hold the line in love.
PrayerLord, when I grow weary of doing good, renew me—help me not give up until due season's harvest comes. Amen.
