Lifted Prayers ("we," "us") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • When you post a prayer: the theme, your prayer, the display name you choose (or "Anonymous"), an optional location, and your email address. Your email is never shown on the wall.
  • When you give, buy, or become a prayer partner: your name, email, the amount, and, for physical products, a shipping address. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • When you contact us: your name, email, and message.
  • When you pray for a prayer or report one: an anonymous code stored in your browser, so each person counts once. It doesn't identify you.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies to help us understand how people find and use the site.
  • Visit notices: our server records an approximate location (city and state, from your internet connection), the page you visited, and your device type, without identifying you.

How we use it

  • To post your prayer and show how many people have prayed for it.
  • To send your receipt, a link to your prayer, a follow-up asking whether God has answered, and, for prayer partners, a monthly note.
  • To keep the wall safe: every prayer is checked automatically for personal information, spam, and inappropriate language.
  • To answer your messages and fulfill orders.

We never sell your information, and we don't share it except with the services that run the site (Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, our email provider, and Google Analytics).

What's public

Your prayer, display name, location (if you add one), date, and prayer count are public on the wall, and anyone you share the link with can see them. Answered-prayer stories are public after our team reviews them.

Your choices

  • Post anonymously.
  • Ask us to edit or remove your prayer or story at any time: email hello@liftedprayers.com.
  • Ask us for a copy of your information or to delete it.
  • Block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on.
  • Cancel a monthly gift or partnership at any time from the link in any of our emails.

Children

The site is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
