Our story
Where this started
Years ago, there was a simple website where people posted their prayers and strangers prayed for them. Many of us remember how much it meant to know that someone, somewhere, had prayed for us that day. Lifted Prayers carries that spirit forward.
Our mission
Pray for one another
We exist to point people to Jesus, to pray for anyone who asks, and to celebrate every answer. Whether you are facing a bill you can't pay, a heart that's breaking, or a hospital waiting room, you are welcome here.
What we believe
- The Bible is God's inspired Word, true and trustworthy, our guide for faith and life.
- There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will come again.
- Salvation is a free gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by our works.
- The Holy Spirit lives in every believer, giving comfort, guidance, and power to live for God.
- Prayer is a privilege of every believer. God hears us, cares for us, and answers according to His perfect love and wisdom.
- The church is the family of believers, called to worship God, love one another, and serve the world.
Our prayer team
Real people, praying by name
Every request on this wall is read by our prayer team, a group of church members who meet each week to pray through the requests by name. Monthly prayer partners are prayed for individually every month.
