Prayer for Healing
A diagnosis, a surgery date, a long recovery, a loved one in a hospital bed: sickness can make the world shrink to one room. Whatever you are facing, you can ask God plainly for healing. Scripture is full of people who did.
We pray expecting God to act, and we don't pretend to know how or when. Prayer goes alongside your doctors and your care, never instead of them. If your struggle is with your mind or your mood, that counts too, and reaching out for help is a good and faithful step.
Prayers you can pray today
Lord, You made this body and You know exactly what is wrong. Please bring healing. Guide my doctors and nurses, ease the pain, and give me rest tonight. Hold me close whatever tomorrow brings. Amen.
Father, I am frightened for someone I love. Be near to them right now. Bring healing, comfort them through every treatment, and give me strength to stay by their side. Amen.
