Healing Hope
Luke 5:13He stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I want to. Be made clean." Immediately the leprosy left him.
Jesus stretched out His hand, touched him, and said, I will; be clean. And immediately the leprosy left him. Luke's parallel again: stretched hand, willing word, immediate cleansing. Touch across stigma remains the point. Jesus wills cleanness for people told they are untouchable. If shame has convinced you He is reluctant, hear I will again. With faith, request cleansing of body and conscience. Stretch your hand toward someone others avoid—with wisdom and love. Immediate leaving of leprosy is the Gospel's snapshot of authority; delayed healing in your life does not cancel His will to save and restore. Keep coming. Keep trusting the stretched hand. Cleanness is His idea before it is your request. Live today as someone the Holy One is willing to touch.
PrayerLord Jesus, You are willing—touch what feels unclean, and teach me to extend a willing hand toward others. Amen.
