Faithful in Little
Luke 12:24Consider the ravens: they don't sow, they don't reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!
Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! Ravens become theology teachers. No barns, yet fed. Jesus is not forbidding farming or saving; He is forbidding anxiety that denies God's care. More value than birds is personal worth under the Father. Consider—look carefully until worry loosens. August skies hold birds that eat without spreadsheets; you are not less noticed. Work and plan remain good; fear that God will forget you is not. When provision anxiety spikes, watch a bird and rehearse your value to the Father. He feeds what He made. You matter more. That "more" can move you into prayer and out of panic shopping or despair. Trust can coexist with wise barns.
PrayerFather, I consider the ravens You feed—and remember I am of more value. Quiet my anxiety with Your care. Amen.
