Restored Breath
Mark 10:52Jesus said to him, "Go your way. Your faith has made you well." Immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus on the way.
And Jesus said to him, Go your way; your faith has made you well. And immediately he recovered his sight and followed Him on the way. Sight restored becomes following on the way—healing leads to discipleship. Go your way under Jesus becomes go His way. Immediate recovery in the story shows power; following shows purpose. Look to Him for wellness that ends in following, not only in private relief. Blind Bartimaeus received mercy and then walked after Jesus. Your recovery path—partial or full—should move in the same direction. Faith that makes well keeps looking at Christ. If sight has been restored in any sense this year, follow harder. If you still wait, cry out and prepare to follow when help comes. Healing without following wastes the gift. Stay on the way with Him.
PrayerLord Jesus, make me well in the ways You choose, and keep me following You on the way afterward. Amen.
