A Better Strength
Matthew 9:35Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. The refrain of teaching, proclaiming, and healing continues—Jesus on the move through ordinary places. Cities and villages both matter; no zip code is beneath kingdom attention. Every disease and affliction again stresses wide mercy in His mission. Imitate the pattern as His body: teach truth, announce good news, care for the afflicted. You may not heal as He did, yet you can show up, pray, and help. Turn your July travels or neighborhood walks into routes of compassion. The gospel of the kingdom still addresses bodies and souls. Refuse a Christianity that only talks. Follow the One who went throughout with both words and healing in hand.
PrayerLord Jesus, You went through cities and villages teaching, proclaiming, and healing. Send me into my places with that same kingdom care. Amen.
