Kind Eyes
Proverbs 31:26She opens her mouth with wisdom. Faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. Wisdom and kindness share a tongue—rare pairing when mouths choose one or the other. Opening the mouth with wisdom means speech that builds; kindness as teaching means instruction without cruelty. Audit your tongue this week. Is kindness on it, or only efficiency? Is wisdom present, or only opinion? Parents, friends, managers, and ministry leaders need this proverb. Speak a kind truth today that someone needs. Refuse teaching that shames for sport. A kind tongue can still be firm. Wisdom without kindness becomes brittle; kindness without wisdom becomes vague. Talk to God and ask Him to set both on your tongue before the next hard conversation. Homes change climate when kindness teaches out loud.
PrayerLord, put wisdom on my lips and the teaching of kindness on my tongue. Change how I speak under pressure. Amen.
