Jesus stretches out a hand toward someone used to isolation. I will answers the leper's if You will with clear desire. Cleanness comes immediately in the story—authority and compassion together. You may need His willingness more than a lecture today. Beg Him to will your cleansing—body, conscience, reputation. Stretch your own hand toward someone isolated by illness or stigma, with appropriate care and courage. Immediate cleansing is not every sufferer's timeline; Christ's willingness remains. Rely on the One who touches what others avoid. Bring your uncleanness into the open before Him. He is not reluctant. That certainty can steady a long afternoon of waiting or treatment.
PrayerLord Jesus, You are willing—stretch out Your hand toward what feels untouchable in me, and teach me to touch others with Your courage. Amen.
