God Is Not Late
Proverbs 11:25The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.
Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered. Generosity creates a living circulation: bless, enrich; water, be watered. This is wisdom's observation under God's governance, not a manipulative give-to-get scheme. People who refresh others often find refreshment meeting them—sometimes materially, often in joy, friendship, and meaning. Ask whom you can water this week without advertising it: a tired parent, a strained coworker, a church mercy need. Enrichment that follows blessing should surprise you into gratitude, not into treating people as investment vehicles. If you feel dry, still water someone; circulation often begins with an outward act. God sees quiet refreshers. Let June's heat remind you that watered people can water others still.
PrayerLord, make me someone who blesses and waters others. Enrich my life with the refreshment that comes from Your kind economy. Amen.
