Exodus 15:26And he said, "If you will diligently listen to the Lord your God's voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you."
If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His eyes, and give ear to His commandments, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer. Covenant health language in Exodus is tied to listening and obedience in Israel's story—not a modern insurance policy you can quote against every diagnosis. Still, God names Himself healer and cares about bodies. Diligent listening matters more than bargaining with symptoms. Do what is right: pursue holiness, justice, and wise care without superstition. Pray to the Lord your healer while using medicine as stewardship. Refuse both presumption that obedience cancels all suffering and despair that God is uninterested in health. Hear His voice today, and entrust your body to His character.
