Psalm 51:10

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Create and renew are verbs only God fully owns. David prays this after catastrophic failure; inner health is not denied to the guilty who repent. A clean heart is more than nicer moods—it is reordered loves. A right spirit stands steady where impulsiveness or despair once ruled. Bring before God creation where you cannot remodel yourself by tips. Health of body matters; health of heart is not optional for people who want to live whole. Bring the specific uncleanness you know—resentment, lust, deceit, contempt—and ask for new creation there. Renewal may be gradual; the prayer can be daily. God still answers broken people who stop defending the dirt.

PrayerGod, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. I bring what I cannot fix alone. Amen.
