Rebuild With Care
Hebrews 11:6Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, because whoever comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. Faith's baseline is personal: God is, and God responds to seekers. Seeking is not a hobby; it is relational pursuit—prayer, Scripture, repentance, obedience in community. Reward here is not a vending machine for wishes; it includes finding God Himself and the goods He wisely gives. In relationships, faithless people-pleasing and faithless withdrawal both miss this. Come to God today as a seeker, not a bargainer. Believe He is present in the conversation you dread and the kindness you owe. Pleasing God starts with trusting who He is, then loving people from that trust.
PrayerGod who rewards seekers, I believe You are and that You respond. Draw me into real seeking that changes how I love people. Amen.
