Hebrews 10:23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
Hold fast the confession of your hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hope here has content: a risen Lord, promises that outlast moods. Holding fast is grip language for slippery weeks—when symptoms linger, when news unsettles, when prayer feels flat. Faithfulness belongs to the Promiser first; your job is to keep confessing what He said while feelings catch up or do not. Speak hope aloud in a sentence you can repeat at noon. Reject the drama of quitting the confession because the schedule got hard. Faithful God underwrites endurance for bodies and souls that both need patience. May that steadiness reach your hands as you care for yourself and someone else who is tired of wavering alone.
PrayerFaithful God, I hold fast the hope I confess. Steady me when wavering feels easier than trust, and keep Your promise before my eyes. Amen.
