Keep the Faith
1 Thessalonians 5:18In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
In everything give thanks—God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Everything includes days that do not feel thank-worthy. Thanksgiving in everything is not thanks for evil itself; it is thanks to God in the midst, trusting His presence and purposes. March ends with a will-of-God statement you can practice immediately. List mercies while naming pains. Gratitude becomes rebellion against despair and entitlement. As a provision-adjacent habit, thanks opens eyes to supply already given. It also fits Something Else as discipleship core—either way, do it. Teach children or friends by modeling it aloud. Will of God is sometimes simpler than we make it: become a thankful person in Christ. Thanksgiving in everything trains the soul to spot mercies that bitterness would have painted over.
PrayerFather, Your will in Christ Jesus includes my thanksgiving in everything. Grow gratefulness that tells the truth and still trusts You. Amen.
