Wait With Hope
Colossians 1:17He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
Christ is before all things; in Him all things hold together. Cosmic glue is personal for people whose lives feel like scattered beads. Creation's coherence is not a cold mechanism—it is Christ's ongoing work. When health, plans, or culture feel like they are flying apart, remember who prevents total unraveling. This does not deny chaos's bite; it names a deeper holding. Pray His name over what seems to be disintegrating. Lent reduces false centers so the true Center can be trusted. Before-all-things means nothing surprises His primacy. Held-together means you can sleep as a creature, not as the universe's last manager. Cosmic holding includes the detail of your Tuesday. Pray His name over the bead that feels ready to drop.
PrayerChrist who holds all things together, hold me and the fragile pieces of my world. I trust Your prior, cosmic care. Amen.
