Soft Strength

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57

Thanks be to God for victory through Jesus—spoken in a chapter about resurrection. This triumph is defeat of death, not a promise that your team always wins or your budget always floats. Retagged away from thin "provision" misuse, the verse fuels gratitude for Christ's conquest of the grave. Lent leans toward the cross; this word already tastes Easter. Praise God aloud for a victory you did not earn. Let gratitude push out grumbling that treats every inconvenience as defeat. Victory through Jesus shapes how you face mortality, failure, and accusation. Live today as someone on the risen side of history, still humble in unfinished sanctification. Gratitude for resurrection victory rewrites what you call a win in ordinary life. Speak gratitude to God before you tally lesser scores.

PrayerGod of victory, thank You for triumph through Jesus. I receive this as resurrection gift, not as a tool for earthly scorekeeping. Amen.
