Living Hope
Romans 8:31What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
If God is for us, who can be against us? The question is rhetorical fuel for embattled people. Opposition remains real; supremacy of God's "for us" is more real. Lent ends February with this confidence. God for us is proven in the next verses by the gift of His Son—not by every circumstance turning soft. Stack your threats beside that gift and watch them shrink. Accusation, hardship, and fear still speak; they do not get the final cross-examination. Answer opposition with belonging. God is for you in Christ. Walk into Monday's pressures on that side of the courtroom. God-for-us changes how you read opposition emails and spiritual attack alike. Stand on His side of the conflict.
PrayerGod, You are for me in Christ. When voices rise against me, settle my heart in Your stronger advocacy and love. Amen.
