Cross Still Speaks

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Romans 8:1

No condemnation for those in Christ Jesus—verdict language that breaks chains of accusation. Lent conviction of sin must end at the cross, not in endless self-prosecution. Condemnation and conviction differ: one drives you from God, the other to Him. If old guilt loops tonight, answer with this verse spoken aloud. In Christ is the location of safety. Walking by the Spirit (in the fuller passage) describes newness, not the price of the verdict. Receive non-condemnation as rock, then obey as a freed person. Shame loses jurisdiction where Jesus reigns. Non-condemnation is not permission to shrug at sin; it is permission to approach God without terror. Come clean and come close. Speak the verdict until your nervous system believes the courtroom is settled.

PrayerLord Jesus, I stand in You where condemnation cannot stay. Quiet every false verdict, and lead me in Spirit-shaped freedom. Amen.
