Where Help Comes From
Psalm 145:15The eyes of all wait for you. You give them their food in due season.
All eyes wait on God; He gives food in due season. Provision has timing—due season—not panic season. Creatures look up; people are invited to the same posture. Due season may frustrate you if you wanted yesterday's delivery. Waiting eyes are still active faith. Bring your household needs into that upward look. Work the job, cook the meal, apply for help, and refuse the myth that waiting equals abandonment. Seasons of tighter supply train dependence without romanticizing hardship. Thank God for food you already have as proof of due season previously kept. Go after the next timely portion. The Giver who feeds creation has not forgotten your table. Upward-looking patience still shops, cooks, and works—just without orphan panic.
PrayerProvider God, our eyes wait on You. Give what is due in this season, and free me from demanding Your gifts on my impatient clock. Amen.
