Peace in Waiting Rooms

The Lord has heard my supplication. The Lord accepts my prayer.

Psalm 6:9

Heard and accepted—the psalmist moves from desperate plea to confident report. God hears supplication; God receives prayer. Between cry and certainty there may be tears and waiting, yet the testimony stands ready for faith to claim. If you wonder whether your prayers clear the ceiling, take this verse as counter-evidence. Acceptance does not always equal immediate yes; it means your prayer is welcomed into God's attention. Pray again today with that confidence. Write "heard" beside a request you fear was ignored. Align your posture with welcome rather than with cosmic indifference. The Lord who accepts prayer invites you back without eye-rolling. Come. Welcomed prayer can wait for visible change without assuming it was ignored. Return again tomorrow with the same honest request.

PrayerLord, You hear my supplication and accept my prayer. I come again with confidence, trusting that I am received in Your presence. Amen.
