Grace Upon Grace
Luke 11:9I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.
Jesus stacks asking, seeking, and knocking as ongoing verbs—keep at it. Provision includes spiritual and material needs brought persistently to the Father. The day after Christmas can feel flat; prayer may seem less urgent than the buildup. This is a good hour to resume asking without shame. What need did December expose? Keep seeking wisdom. Keep knocking on doors that may yet open—employment, reconciliation, healing. Persistence is not nagging a reluctant God; it is relationship that refuses to quit. Write three continuing requests and pray them specifically. Watch for answers that arrive sideways through people and timing you did not script. The Father who gave His Son delights in attentive children who keep coming. Persistence after the wrapping paper is gone often reveals what you truly trust God for.
PrayerFather, I keep asking, seeking, and knocking. Provide what You know I need, and train me in persistence that trusts Your generosity. Amen.
