Matthew 19:26Looking at them, Jesus said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Jesus looks at people trapped by what money and morality cannot solve and says the humanly impossible is possible with God. The context is salvation's doorway, narrow for the rich and for everyone who trusts themselves. Possibility language here is gospel-sized. If you have labeled someone—including yourself—"impossible," Christmas disagrees. God specializes in openings where human leverage ends. Bring the impassable situation into prayer without dictating the method. Possible-with-God does not mean every desire unlocks; it means God's saving power is not cornered by our limits. Wonder replaces cynicism when you rehearse this sentence over a hardened heart, a stuck vocation, or a grief that feels final. Leave room for God to act beyond your toolkit.
PrayerGod of the possible, confront what I have called impossible. Work where my strength ends, and teach me to hope according to Your power. Amen.
