Repair the Tear
Galatians 6:2Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Burdens are shared, not merely admired. Bear implies weight on your shoulders for a while. Law of Christ is love in action. October loneliness grows when burdens stay private. Speak up for help; offer help. Fulfill sounds complete—burden-bearing is not optional extracurricular. One another's means mutual, not a few exhausted saints carrying everyone. Take a concrete burden today: a meal, a ride, a listening hour, a bill shared, a prayer vigil. Law of Christ is lighter than the law of looking fine. Drop the act. Pick up a corner of someone else's load. Christ bore yours; copy Him in community scale. Fulfillment feels like shared sweat and shared relief.
PrayerLord Jesus, help me bear others' burdens and let others bear mine—fulfill Your law of love in our life together. Amen.
