Room to Breathe
Isaiah 41:13For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Don't be afraid. I will help you.'
For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, Fear not, I am the one who helps you. Held right hand—guided, steadied, claimed. Fear not comes with help attached. I am the one who helps you personalizes aid. Provision anxiety often feels like falling; held hands change that physics. September endings of quarters and seasons can unsettle. Picture God holding your right hand in prayer imagery and real trust. Help is a Person before it is a packet of money. Fear loses speech when the Helper speaks. Take the next step as someone held. Teach a child this verse with a literal hand-hold if you can. The Lord your God remains the one who helps—not a vague force, but your God.
PrayerLord my God, hold my right hand—I will not fear, because You are the one who helps me. Amen.
