Walk in Love
Luke 6:31As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them.
And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. The Golden Rule turns preference into practice. Wish becomes the template for action toward others. September rush makes us demand courtesy we do not give. Reverse it: do the thoughtful thing you keep waiting for from others. Love takes initiative. Empathy becomes ethics. Apply it at home, in traffic, in email tone, in how you share credit. Doing so to them before they deserve it mirrors gospel initiative. Wish carefully—then obey your own wish-list for treatment. Communities change when this rule moves from poster to habit. Start with one relationship where you have been waiting to be treated well while withholding the same. Do so today.
PrayerLord, as I wish others would treat me, help me treat them—initiative love that mirrors Your grace. Amen.
