Anointed with Spirit and power, Jesus went about—mobile goodness. Healing the oppressed and doing good summarize a life. God was with Him. That pattern still defines Christian hope for bodies and bondage. Oppression by the devil is real; so is Spirit-empowered liberation. In prayer, ask God to continue this work through His church: doing good, healing, freeing. September can host practical good and earnest prayer for the oppressed. God with Jesus is the explanation. God with us in Christ is our confidence. Join the going-about. Refuse a static faith that never touches pain. Power aims at goodness, not spectacle.
PrayerFather, You anointed Jesus to do good and heal the oppressed—continue that work among us by Your Spirit. Amen.
