Look to the Hills
John 15:7If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. Abiding conditions asking. Words abiding reshape wishes until they align with Jesus. This is not blank-check religion; it is relational pruning of desire. Stay in Him—connection, obedience, dependence. Let His words live in you through memorization and meditation. Then ask. September provision requests become safer when Scripture inhabits the heart. Wish is sanctified by abiding. Done for you follows union, not technique. Check whether you are asking while half-abiding—distant, unfed by His words. Return. Abide. Ask from that place. Fruit and answered prayer share a root in remaining close to Christ. Wish less like a stranger and more like a branch in the vine.
PrayerLord Jesus, I want to abide in You with Your words in me—shape my wishes and teach me to ask from that closeness. Amen.
