Still Cared For
Matthew 7:7Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Triple invitation: ask, seek, knock. Persistence and relationship, not magical phrases. Given, find, opened—responses from a Father who hears. Provision prayers belong here without shame. Ask for daily bread, wisdom, open doors. Press toward with effort beyond a muttered wish. Knock when a door seems shut and you still need entrance. Jesus authorizes bold approach. September needs—work, school costs, help—can be named specifically. Keep asking without treating God like a vending machine; keep trusting when timing stretches. The verbs are yours; the giving is His. Refuse silent pride that will not ask. Children ask. So should you.
PrayerFather, I ask, seek, and knock—teach me persistent trust as I bring real needs to You. Amen.
