Meet Them With Grace
Song of Solomon 2:4He brought me to the banquet hall. His banner over me is love.
He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. Banqueting house is feast and welcome; banner is public signal of belonging. Love as banner means you live under a declared identity—loved—not under a flag of performance. In marriage and in belonging to Christ, banners matter. What flies over your home: criticism, achievement, anxiety, or love? Let love be the visible claim. Bring someone into a banqueting spirit—hospitality that says you belong here. Christ's banner over His people is love sealed in blood and joy. Rest under it when shame tries to raise another flag. Celebrate covenant love with a meal if you can. Public love steadies private fears. Live today as someone seated under that banner, and treat others as guests of the same feast.
PrayerLord, Your banner over me is love—seat me at Your feast and help me fly that same banner over people I welcome. Amen.
