Provision Without Pressure

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says the Lord of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for.

Malachi 3:10

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. And thereby put Me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. Malachi confronts withheld tithes that left God's house without food for ministry and the needy. Testing God here is His invitation to trust Him with whole obedience in that covenant setting. Windows of heaven and blessing without need speak of overflowing provision for a repenting people. Do not twist this into a personal enrichment scheme. Do ask whether you are withholding what belongs in the shared storehouse of God's work. Bring the full portion with integrity. Trust God to supply. Blessing aims at need met and house supplied, not at fueling greed.

PrayerLord of hosts, I bring what belongs in Your house. Teach me trust without turning Your promise into a greed scheme. Amen.
