He Makes Whole
Psalm 119:93I will never forget your precepts, for with them, you have revived me.
I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have given me life. Memory of life-giving commands guards against amnesia that returns you to deathly patterns. Precepts are not mere rules; they have been means of revival in your actual history. Forgetting is how old harms regain the steering wheel. May ends with a vow of remembrance: I will not forget. Write, memorize, rehearse the commands that restored you—truth-telling, Sabbath rhythm, sexual faithfulness, generosity, prayer. Life came through them by God's grace. Health of soul includes remembering what healed you before. If you are slipping, return to the precept you abandoned and ask for life again. God still revives people who stop pretending forgetfulness is freedom. Remembrance keeps obedience alive when feelings run thin.
PrayerLord, I will not forget Your precepts—by them You gave me life. Revive me again where memory has grown thin. Amen.
