Walk Forward

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Colossians 3:15

Let God's peace umpire your heart—that is the sense of rule—and stay thankful as one body. Peace as referee decides which feelings get to call plays. Anxiety, anger, and rivalry often grab the whistle. Lent community needs this ruling peace. Thankfulness breaks the sulk that divides. When a decision or a slight arises, ask which call peace would make. Body language reminds you that peace is not only private calm; it is relational. Yield a preference. Send a grateful message. Accept the umpire's call even when ego wants a replay. Thankfulness and peace travel together; feed one and you often strengthen the other in the same hour. Ask the peace of Christ to overrule a harsh reply you were about to send.

PrayerPeace of God, rule in my heart. Call me into thankful unity with Your body when irritation wants the throne. Amen.
