The Quiet Miracle
Psalm 37:5Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this.
Commit your way to the Lord—roll the weight of your path onto Him—then trust. The psalm continues into vindication imagery, yet even this verse alone teaches release. Commitment is active transfer, not vague positivity. Name the "way" that keeps you tense: career fork, financial plan, relational risk. Place it in God's hands with spoken words. Trust also in Him means leaving it there when the urge to snatch it back arrives an hour later. Provision includes guidance for the road, not only cash for the tolls. Recommit as often as anxiety returns. God is not annoyed by repeated entrusting. He is honored by it. Let trust become the posture of your workday, not only your quiet time. Entrusting the same burden twice in one day still counts as faith, not failure.
PrayerLord, I commit this way to You—especially what I keep reclaiming. Teach me to trust You with the path and the pace. Amen.
