Truth That Frees
Luke 18:27But he said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."
Impossible with men; possible with God—echoed again from Jesus' lips regarding salvation's reach. Human systems hit walls; God does not share those walls. As the year closes, inventory what you labeled impossible: a restored marriage, a sober future, enough wisdom for a new role, forgiveness that stuck. Possibility language belongs in your year-end prayers. This is not optimism as a personality trait; it is theology. God raised Jesus—that recalibrates impossible. Speak the situation to Him without the cynical addendum. Then obey the next small instruction you already know. Possibility often meets you in motion. Let the final days of December be marked by reopened hope under God's power. Speak possibility over the closed door without pretending you know which key God will use.
PrayerGod, what is impossible for me is possible for You. Reopen hope where I sealed it shut, and lead me in steps that match Your power. Amen.
