Faithful God
Jeremiah 29:13You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.
Seeking with all the heart is the condition paired with finding God. Half-hearted religion can recite correct lines while the will stays elsewhere. Advent seeking looks like longing—watching for Christ with desire, not mere routine. Wholeheartedness does not mean perfect emotion; it means refusing a divided loyalty that keeps God as a weekend hobby. Search involves Scripture, repentance, community, and honest questions. If God has felt distant, ask whether you have been browsing or seeking. Clear one distraction that fragments your attention this week. Fast from a noise source if needed. Finding is promised to searchers, not to spectators. Let your heart gather into a single pursuit: knowing the Lord who comes near in Jesus. The search itself becomes worship when you refuse to multitask God into the margins of a crowded December.
PrayerGod, I seek You with the heart I have—gather it into one chase. Let me find You as I search beyond half-attention and hurried faith. Amen.
