God's Economy
Philippians 4:19My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Paul wrote these words from prison to friends who had just sent a gift. He was not pitching a formula for wealth; he was thanking people who had shared what they had and pointing them past the gift to the Giver. Needs still arrive—rent, groceries, a repair that cannot wait—and none of them surprise the One who holds glory as His storehouse. When the spreadsheet looks thin, the invitation is not to pretend everything is fine but to remember whose economy you live in. Christ Himself is the measure of the riches Paul names, which means the supply is personal, not mechanical. Bring the real number into prayer today. Name the gap without shame. Request wisdom about the next faithful step, and leave room for help to come through ordinary people as well as unexpected openings. Provision often looks like enough for this afternoon, then enough again tomorrow.
PrayerGod of Christ Jesus, You see every need on my list. Supply what is truly required, teach me contentment without numbness, and make me generous when You give. Amen.
