Love Listens First
Psalm 32:8I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
God promises instruction, teaching in the way, counsel with His eye on you. Guidance is personal, not merely principled. Eye upon you is attentive care—love that watches. In relationships, seek His counsel before enlisting a chorus of biased advisors. Way-you-should-go implies your path has shape under His wisdom. Receive counsel through Word and Spirit-prompted wisdom. Being watched by God frees you from performing for every human audience. Carry to prayer the next instructed step and take it while His eye rests on you with care. Protect ten undistracted minutes so roots can take before noise returns. Replace one sarcastic aside with a sincere blessing before nightfall. Begin again without a shame speech when you notice you drifted already. Ask the Spirit to make the next hard reply gentler and truer.
