Rest Under His Wings
Psalm 91:11For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
Angels charged to guard you in all your ways is protective language that has comforted many and been twisted by some into reckless presumption. Guarded ways still include wisdom—Jesus refused to leap from the temple to force the verse. Receive comfort without superstition. God cares for your path with resources you do not see. Lift a prayer for protection over travel, illness exposure, and unseen dangers, then buckle the seatbelt and wash your hands. Guardian care is reason for gratitude, not for testing God. In anxious seasons, let this verse reduce hypervigilance that exhausts the body. You are attended. Walk wisely inside that care. Invisible help does not cancel visible wisdom. Receive both as gifts from the same guarding God. Gratitude for unseen guards should make you braver, not careless.
PrayerLord, thank You for guarding care I cannot measure. Protect my going out and coming in, and keep me from presuming on Your kindness. Amen.
