He Opens Doors
Psalm 112:5It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.
It goes well with the gracious lender—the person who deals generously and still stands firm in judgment. Provision ethics include how you handle money toward others: lending with fairness, giving without humiliating, refusing predatory advantage. "It is well" is not a prosperity formula; it is wisdom's observation about a life aligned with mercy. If you have means, ask whom you can help without strings that choke. If you need a loan or help, seek people of character. Gracious dealing shapes communities where lack does not become exploitation. Inspect your financial habits for meanness dressed up as prudence. Generosity with discernment is still generosity. Gracious lending refuses both naïveté and hardness. Ask God for a just generosity that leaves no one humiliated.
PrayerLord, make me gracious and just with money. Where I have enough, open my hand; where I have need, lead me to upright help. Amen.
