Release the Tight Grip

He has given food to those who fear him. He always remembers his covenant.

Psalm 111:5

Food for those who fear Him sits beside covenant memory that never blanks. Fear of the Lord is reverent loyalty, not cowering superstition. Covenant means God ties His care to His promise, not to your bargaining chips. When grocery anxiety rises, remember you deal with a God who remembers. That memory underwrites humble prayer for provision and humble work to receive it. It also challenges stinginess among people who fear Him—covenant communities share bread. Name the need for food with reverence and gratitude. Thank Him for covenant faithfulness that outlasts market swings. Provision is personal because the Provider keeps covenant. Reverent people still ask plainly for bread. Covenant memory makes the asking relational instead of desperate theater. Shared bread among the reverent makes covenant visible on a plate.

PrayerCovenant-keeping God, remember us with food and mercy. Teach me reverent trust and a generous share of what You provide. Amen.
