Care You Can Feel
Psalm 104:14He causes the grass to grow for the livestock, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may produce food out of the earth.
Grass for livestock, plants for people to cultivate, food from the earth—God wires provision through growth and human work. Cultivation means your labor matters inside divine care. Laziness misreads grace; anxious toil misreads it too. Join the pattern: work the plot you have—job, craft, studies—while tracing harvest back to God's causing. Winter gardens sleep in many climates; still the verse holds as theology of ordinary means. Thank God for soil, seed, and skill. Ask Him to prosper honest work without turning work into a savior. Food out of the earth remains a miracle slow enough to miss. Do not miss it at supper. Honest work under God's rain is partnership, not a rival gospel of self-making.
PrayerCreator, You cause growth and invite my cultivation. Bless the work of my hands, and feed us from Your generous earth. Amen.
